HI AND WELCOME!

I’m Caroline

I am a pediatric occupational therapist in Howard County, MD. I’ve been practicing occupational therapy for almost 15 years! I started out working in large teaching hospitals and transitioned into pediatrics.

I currently focus on the care of children in the community using a mobile outpatient model. This means I meet you at your home, or another familiar community location. My services are all private pay.

I am a neurodiversity-affirming therapist. This means I use a strengths-based and trauma-informed lens in all my interactions.

I also offer community classes, including Nature Moves Me, which is an outdoor class for toddlers and young children. I will soon be starting a Girls Club™ in Howard County.

My goal is to nurture the humanity and understanding of all individuals in order to access a true, full life.

HERE’S MORE OF GLIMPSE INTO MY OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY SESSIONS

I meet you EXACTLY AS YOU ARE.

I work with babies, toddlers, and young children in their natural environment, a place that is familiar and comfortable.

Most often, I meet with children and their family in their home. But sessions also extend to the local park, libraries, even the community pool. Sessions and clinical decision making are guided by identifying strengths, motivating factors, and interests that are all specific to the individuals I work with.

I am trained in the DIR Model and provide neurodiversity affirming practice using a strengths-based approach.

Throughout sessions, I am continually evaluating the child’s strength, balance, coordination, endurance, cognition, visual motor integration, vision, sensory system, primitive reflexes, and much more.
